HALF IS BETTER THAN WHOLE, VILLAGE IS KING AND FLAVORS ARE PLENTIFUL AT STUBDOG.COM

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – SEPTEMBER 29, 2009 – StubDog.com (www.stubdog.com) is one the nation’s fastest growing and most eclectic discount-ticket agencies. Launched in Houston, and now in Los Angeles and New York, StubDog makes more nights out, exploring new venues and discovering different entertainment genres not only possible, but majorly possible. StubDog has partnered with the biggest entertainment arenas as well as the quaintest, hippest, neighborhood secret venues to bring half price tickets to the metropolitan masses. Understanding the value of community and a premier principle since its conception, StubDog donates 10 percent of all its sales to local charitable organizations. StubDog’s wide range of variety, user-friendly website and donations to the communities in which they serve set them apart from other discount ticket retailers.

Fast forward to a time where one can click on a Website and find all the ingredients and choices for a beautiful night out from theatre and dance, comedy and sport, to speed dating and yoga. And whatever one’s cyber shopping cart click may be, the price of admission would be half that of its regular printed tag. And in this same fast forward, the wondrous evening to be had not only is conveniently secured and wallet pleasing, but also gives back to the community. Well then the time would be 2009 and the magical provider would be Texas-grown ticket maverick StubDog.

StubDog was founded in 2006 by young entrepreneur Sam Levassar. Spawned from the contemporary prerequisite Friday night question, “What are we going to do tonight?” Levassar realized for lack of a better, more comprehensive conduit to the city’s every changing events, he and most people where doing the same thing, revisiting the same places week after week. His vision was to create one cyber destination where people could discover all the exciting, great events happening throughout the city and at the same time find a way to give back to the community and to the arts. The goal set forth by Levassar and StubDog was to be able to provide people with the opportunity to try something new and entice them to explore events locally for a fraction of the normal costs.

Levassar teamed up with lifelong friend, StubDog’s vice president of operations Paul Beckwith to make StubDog and its ideals come to life. With its grass roots in Texas, offering events in Dallas, Houston and Fort Worth, StubDog successfully launched in Los Angeles in 2008, securing partnerships with The Actors Gang, The Ford Amphitheatre, White Trash Catholic Circus, Art of Boxing Promotions, Pilates Studio City and the Groundlings just to name a few. In 2009, StubDog entered the Big Apple, penetrating New York City’s market with their crowd-pleasing , fresh brand of entertainment offerings.

StubDog’s other notable partnered venues and arenas include (but are certainly no limited to): Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA, LA Dodgers, MLB, LA Wine Festival, Pasadena Playhouse, Key Club, Feinstein’s at Loews Regency, Birdland, BB King’s Blues Club, Jazz at Lincoln Center, BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music), etc. Customers are encouraged to sign up for StubDog’s weekly newsletter to keep informed on their constantly updated list of venues and events.

LORENA SARBU PERFECTS SENSUAL SOPHISTICATION FOR SHOHREH AGHDASHLOO DURING 61st ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMYS

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – SEPTEMBER 21, 2009 – As the stars came out on the evening of Sunday, September 20th, so did the design creations of the world’s most recognized couture houses. There was a new name etching its impressions onto the ultimate walk of style and into the sought-after designer list this year. Designer Lorena Sarbu‘s (www.lorenasarbu.com) wondrous couture fabrications were on point to make a fresh, seductive, uniquely personalized statement on this year’s 61st Annual Primetime Emmy world stage. One of the Emmy nominees that graced the red carpet in Lorena Sarbu this year was Primetime Emmy nominated actress Shohreh Aghdashloo.

Shohreh Aghdashloo was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her powerful performance in HBO’s “House Of Saddam.” This was Aghdashloo’s first Emmy nomination. But the Iranian born beauty is not a newcomer to the awards arena. In 2003, Aghdashloo skyrocketed to fame with her portrayal of Nadereh Behrani in “House of Sand and Fog” opposite Ben Kingsley and Jennifer Connelly. Her performance earned her an Oscar nomination and top honors, such as the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female, Los Angeles Film Critics Association award for Best Supporting Actress and the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actress. Aghdashloo’s other diverse credits include, “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2,” “X-Men: The Last Stand” and FOX’s “24.”

Lorena Sarbu’s vision for Aghdashloo’s Emmy evening meshed sophistication, demure sexy and shimmering beauty. The perfection realized was a bejeweled blue, iridescent Italian silk chiffon gown with an exquisitely pleated bustier cinched at the waist with [antique jewelry hand picked by Lorena Sarbu]. The gown’s straps delicately expand to kiss the shoulders as its rear criss-cross pattern plays as an elegant, enticing framework for her back. Ethereal and light, the dress cascades to the floor, accentuating her sophisticated and sensual form. Passionate about marrying design creation with the talent’s own unique personal aura and allure, Lorena Sarbu’s custom creations are alive in so many ways, which set her apart from the rest of the couture set. The dress imagined for Aghdashloo is a prime example of Lorena Sarbu pure enchantment.

This was Lorena Sarbu’s second design presence at this year’s Emmy Awards. 2009 Daytime Emmy Award Winner, Tamara Braun accepted her statue in a stunning, form fitting, sexy, Lorena Sarbu pewter chiffon and silk mermaid gown with a daring plunge back. The gown, matched with Braun’s beauty, had the YouTube, Facebook and soap blogs aflutter for days.

LAURA BRYNA ROCKS THE HOUSE
Los Angeles Debut Performance – Standing Room Only at the House of Blues

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA (August 14, 2009) – Monday night was anything but quiet at the famous House of Blues on the Sunset Strip as music recording artist Laura Bryna rocked a packed club in her Los Angeles debut.

Bryna performed songs from her debut CD, ‘Trying to be Me’, as well as some new material destined for a follow up CD sometime in 2010. The mix of music brought together rock, pop, and country in a soulful mixture that allowed the Los Angeles-based Bryna to showcase her powerful range. Two of the songs featured a dancing duo as choreographed by the well known Eddie Garcia (has worked with the likes of Michael Jackson, Ja Rule, Sheryl Crow, Jane’s Addiction, Paula Abdul, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Brandy and more).

An especially exciting announcement confirming Bryna’s deal to have her CD distributed internationally through AGR Television Records and Universal Music Group International was made at the show. As part of the arrangement, Bryna will make appearances in various countries to promote the music beginning early next year.

The concert event also featured tributes to a number of special American ‘Hometown Heroes’ as well, including Women of the Air National Guard and five everyday unsung heroes flown to L.A. as part of a national search contest sponsored by Bryna, Southern Beauty magazine, JOICO, It’s A Glam Thing and the Andaz Hotel. Some of the celebrities attending included soap stars Kate Linder, Patrika Darbo and Sean Kanan; and TV/Film actors Ben Feldman and Jonathan Sadowski.

In addition to a standing room, appreciative crowd who came for some great new music, the event took time to honor the five winners of the ‘Hometown Heroes’ search conducted this spring and summer. VH1 host BD Freeman opened the show and introduced National News Anchor / TV Host Suzanne Sena who acted as MC. Mayor Abbe Land of West Hollywood and Mayoral Rep BJ Lemothe (City of Los Angeles) both made a few remarks and tributes to the heroes, the Air Guard women and Bryna. Lemothe read a letter to Bryna from Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, honoring the performer for her dedication to the armed forces and others in need.

Bryna, who gives countless hours of her time to supporting efforts of the Air Guard and the National Guard Youth Foundation as well as Make-A-Wish Foundation, was quite emotional in trying to describe her feelings for the hometown heroes in the audience. “I am so blessed to do what I love,” said Bryna. “But without the sacrifices that these men and women make for their country, I wouldn’t be able to do this. They are the true heroes – they help me to live my dream.”

Laura Bryna is currently working on film and television opportunities as well as a brand new music project. Log on to www.laurabryna.com for more information.

Hot Country-Pop Artist Laura Bryna is More Than Just a Pretty Face

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – JUNE 2009 – Since the release of her 2008 debut album, Laura Bryna has become quite a phenomenon, receiving the kind of reaction from fans and press alike that you rarely see these days. For an artist so early in her career, her resume already reads like an industry veteran’s, with major endorsements from some of the biggest names in the business.

Bryna’s first major tour was a 45-city expedition with country legend Clint Black. This was the first of several extremely successful live pairings, placing Bryna alongside top artists like Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Sugarland.

Her debut album, Trying to Be Me, has struck a chord with an audience that spans the spectrum of fans on both sides of the country and pop fence. Not only is Bryna one of the most beautiful new stars in Nashville, but her timeless melodies and substantial lyrics make her one of the most significant talents to emerge in many years.

With such widespread appeal, it’s easy to understand why she’s considered one of the hottest rising stars in country-pop music today. She’s found the rare audience that only superstars-in-the-making seem to attract, as her career already seems to be following the same trajectory that launched pop crossover megastars like Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood and Faith Hill to become household names.

Right out of the gate, Bryna’s label Equity Records realized her enormous potential, signing her to a three-album deal. This auspicious beginning led to her recent role as the face and voice of the Nation Air Guard ad campaign, featuring a song she co-wrote aptly titled, “Hometown Heroes,” as a tribute to all of the heroes who serve our country.

Bryna’s glamorous and fashionable image mixed with her girl-next-door charm has made her wildly popular with fans. Her involvement with the Make-A-Wish foundation is a testament to her generous heart and down to earth personality. Visit her impressive site www.laurabryna.com and hear for yourself why she’s one of the fastest rising stars in country-pop today.

MUSIC MAKERS, DREAMERS of DREAMS
Talent Shines Bright with StarBrite Music Supervision

HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. — April 2009 – When the instinctually razor-sharp and tirelessly talented Joey Lauren Koch was inspired to created StarBrite Music Supervision (SMS), she knew that she was onto something. What she may not have known then – but is certain of now – is just how profoundly the niche she made was needed and how promising is her unique way of making it!

Again, what makes StarBrite Music Supervision so special (and what Joey Lauren Koch master’s so well) is a keen ability to bridge the often altruistic and artistic bridge between the visual and the musical, creating an altogether new moment, image or experience entirely. She is able to piece sound and image together with a surgeon’s precision, a sculpture’s touch, a cinematographer’s scope and a composer’s ear.

SMS is essentially hired by said production to supply music to any host of visual and interactive media, which include films, television, commercials, events, etc. This is where Koch’s acute ear, discerning eye and contemporary cultural sensibility come perfectly into practice.

In this respect, SMS is a critical component of the overall collaboration, selecting specific outside music/underscore for the project which often includes songs utilized during on-camera situations. SMS also handles the negotiation and licensing of songs and all specific music matters (business or otherwise), such as soundtrack albums, publishing deals and cue sheet execution.

With a slew of credits, which include the likes of MTV, the beautiful young host to SMS is committed to choosing the most appropriate and inspired musical selections to fully reveal and realize the story. SMS’s creative STAR shines BRITE and Joey Koch’s goal is unwaveringly clear: provide inspired service by fusing together music with visual media.

For more information about StarBrite Music Supervision, visit www.starbritemusicsupervision.com. For interviews, please contact Eileen Koch, Eileen Koch & Company INC., at (310) 441-1000 or email at [email protected].

Los Angeles, CA & Montreal, Canada (April 6, 2009)To create a flourishing business in the shadow of a crumbling economy is beyond miraculous; it is something auspicious. By definition, the word means that something is marked by lucky signs or good fortune, and therefore promises success. If Jason & Rodney Carr’s Softline Home Fashions – the leading importer of ready-made curtains and decorative fabrics – is any indication of what the future has in store, Softline is in promisingly familiar territory!

Their FULL DISTRIBUTION center (for big box retailers mass merchants), as well as the over-the-counter retail stores (selling ready-made curtains, fabrics by the bolt and decorative pillows/bedding) maintain Softline’s pinnacle position.
