NBC4 Los Angeles featured OmniPeace Foundation founder Mary Fanaro and her transformative initiative, Global Music Box, in a powerful California Live segment — with coverage secured by EKC PR, one of the top PR agencies in LA. Filmed at Deliverance Tabernacle Church in Pasadena, the story highlighted how an underused space was transformed into a vibrant music classroom—bringing healing and hope to children who had never before had access to instruments.
From its roots in Rwanda, where the first Global Music Box classrooms gave war‑torn communities a chance to heal through music, the program has now expanded across Los Angeles. Fanaro emphasized that the initiative is not only about providing instruments, but also about creating inspiring spaces where children can feel seen, supported, and uplifted. With a mission of using music as a bridge for joy and mental health, the Pasadena launch marks the second permanent California location, following the successful program at Dolores T. Richardson Elementary in Inglewood.
