Sue Obeidi, Director of MPAC’s Hollywood Bureau, Hosts Workshop at 2018 Teen VOGUE Summit

 

EKC PR secured another fabulous speaking opportunity for client Sue Obeidi – Director of MPAC’s Hollywood Bureau.

Teen VOGUE chose Sue to host a workshop at their 2018 Teen VOGUE Summit in NYC from June 1–3 and today is finally the day!

This afternoon, Sue led approximately 25-30 millennials in an hour filled session on the subject of Knowing Your Self-Worth is Power. Learn How To Use It.

Sue’s presentation consisted of some of the following topics, and more:

• What aspect of who you are adds the most value to the world.
• Sue’s journey in working for authentic and inclusive presentations of Muslims on TV and Film. A synopsis of the work done at MPAC’s Hollywood Bureau towards that goal.
• Knowing your value and identifying positive qualities and self-worth.
• How to know your value, how do you recognize, identify it?
• Passions.
• Qualities you want to be complimented for?
• Things you could do daily to recognize your value and build your sense of worth.
• Things needed in your life, within yourself or from others, that would help with identifying your value in order to make a difference in the world.
• Who would you be and what would be the first step you would take in asserting your self-worth.
• Dream career. Are you doing what you love? What holds you back from pursuing that career or taking risks to do what you love?
• Keeping your internal compass strong and active during difficult times or even successful times when we feel like we are unstoppable and have no limits.

 

At this year’s Teen VOGUE Summit: TURN UP, the most inspiring activists and change-makers of today will offer their insights on speaking out, learning what it takes to be a leader, and empowering others.
