Metal Mouse Brings Disney-Fueled Glam Metal to Sacramento’s Ace of Spades, June 21

Parody powerhouse Metal Mouse, fronted by American Idol alum James Durbin, turns the Ace of Spades stage into a head-banging magic kingdom this Saturday, June 21. Dubbed “the arena show where Ariel meets Anthrax,” the band flips Part of Your World, Let It Go, and Circle of Life into pyro-laced anthems—complete with guitar duels, tongue-in-cheek banter, and a mascot mouse head that shoots CO₂.

Co-creator Alex Pels says the goal is simple: “Give every generation a reason to scream-sing the songs they grew up on—while crowd-surfing.” The Sacramento date follows a sold-out Berkeley debut and tees up a summer run of comic-con appearances, cruise-ship bookings, and festival pitches now being handled by EKC PR.
