The holiday season is in full swing with the streaming release of The Christmas Letter, a heartwarming new comedy from LAMA Entertainment, now available in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand. Featuring an all-star cast, including Angus Benfield, Chevy Chase, Randy Quaid, and Brian Doyle-Murray, the film blends humor, festive chaos, and family fun. Directed by Tori Hunter and based on a story by Michael Cunningham, the film follows Joe Michaels, an unemployed copywriter who embarks on a wildly exaggerated holiday vacation to outshine a wealthy friend’s annual Christmas letter.
Complementing the film’s release, the soundtrack single Christmas in New York, co-written and performed by Ruth Benfield, debuted on November 15. Inspired by the magic of winter in NYC and the charm of classic holiday films, the song combines a nostalgic 1940s feel with a modern touch. With its lighthearted storytelling and festive soundtrack, The Christmas Letter is set to become a seasonal favorite, inviting audiences to laugh, reminisce, and embrace the joy of the holidays.
