Hook’s Lost Boys Reunite to Celebrate 25th Anniversary of Film and to Remember Robin Williams

It’s been almost 25 years since Dustin Hoffman and Robin Williams stepped into the shoes of an aging Captain Hook and Peter Pan in Steven Spielberg’s beloved film Hook.

And now, ahead of the its quarter anniversary on Dec. 11, the movie’s Lost Boys have reunited to revisit their Neverland characters in a nostalgic photo shoot.

Dante Basco (Rufio), Bo Gheorghe (Noseminer), Raushan Hammond (Thud Butt), James Madio (Don’t Ask), Isaiah Robinson (Pockets), Ahmad Stoner (No Nap), Thomas Tulak (Too Small), and Brett and Bryan Willis (Sooner & Later) gathered together again – dressing in costumes inspired by their iconic Hook looks.

Ryan J. Francis, who played a younger version of Peter Pan in the film, also joined in the fun. He posed with a thimble in the shoot – the film’s version of a kiss.

The actors were between the ages of 6 and 17 during the movie’s filming.

The pics, shot by Bradford Rogne, were posted to Facebook Tuesday by online production company 22 Vision. They’re the studio behind the recent cast reunions of The Little Rascals, School of Rock and Problem Child.

Of course, one person missing from the Lost Boys reunion was the late Robin Williams. The cast felt his absence in their gathering.

“I think for all of us [Robin’s death] was the death of our childhood,” Basco told Entertainment Tonight at the reunion.

“There’s sadness there, also there’s a lot of space to kind of celebrate one of the most legendary artists of our time,” he continued. “[Robin] really taught me at a young age what it means to be a star, what it means to be a leader on a set. Everything you want Robin Williams to be he delivered in spades.”

“A lot of the things we became, all these years later, are directly because of him,” Robinson added.

Asked if there is anything they wish they could have told Williams before he passed, the actors all provided a resounding “thank you.”

This week marks the second anniversary of Williams’ death.
