LOS ANGELES, CA–(Marketwired – Jul 6, 2015) – Jumping® Fitness, the world’s premier trampoline exercise program and their parent company JSTB International, s.r.o., has terminated their former German distributor, Jean-Pierre Ulrich, after claiming that he illegally breached their contract, stole brand content, marketing materials and other copyrighted work, which were all created and owned by the Jumping® Fitness brand.
“We first noticed the issue in early June when Jean-Pierre Ulrich changed his company’s logos and social media channels,” says Tomáš Buriánek, Jumping® Fitness’ CEO. “My team and I are very disappointed and intend to pursue full legal action in German courts.”
Jumping® Fitness was originally created in 2001 by Tomáš Buriánek and Jana Svobodová, Czech Republic natives who were tired of spin classes and other run-of-the-mill aerobics courses. After a brief conversation, the two were inspired to construct an enjoyable workout using home trampolines and thus began developing their program leisurely. After catching on in their home city of Tábor, their first public lesson soon followed. Today, Jumping® Fitness has centers all over the world, including Europe, the Middle East, the Orient, Canada and the United States.
Jean-Pierre Ulrich asserts that his actions are justified due to the alleged unwillingness of JSTB International, s.r.o., to admit to “defective” trampolines.
“Jean-Pierre is undoubtedly looking to capitalize on the success of our Jumping® Fitness brand,” Tomáš Buriánek strongly states. “Our legal team has already issued a termination request and we hope that he will comply before further action is needed.”
Jumping® Fitness intends to open new branches across Germany once the dispute has been settled.
