We are so very proud of our client, the beautiful and talented Deaf actress (and advocate) Natasha Ofili, who was every bit a big bright shining star as we could have imagined during TheWrap’s Power Women Summit last Friday. 
Natasha, who currently stars as Payton Hobart’s (Ben Platt) no-nonsense Principal Karen Vaughn on Ryan Murphy’s The Politician, was invited by TheWrap to be a celebrity guest mentor at their second annual festivities.
Handspeaking out through ASL to a large crowd in the grand ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel in Santa Monica, CA, Natasha touched on topics that ranged from her trials and tribulations of being a deaf African American woman, to the ways in which she finally broke through barriers to work as a deaf actor, and how she is using her newfound platform to push hard for broad representation in television, film, and theater.
Actress Simone Missick, who stars as the lead in the CBS series All Rise, teamed up with Natasha for the first half the program, making for a power women match made in heaven!
